Keep your system
working for you.
The right replacement filter is the one made for your actual equipment. Keep a clear record of the manufacturer, model and installed components.
Kitchen drinking-water equipment
Prefilters, postfilters, membranes and mineralizing cartridges may have different replacement intervals. Follow the actual model’s instructions and account for water use and feed-water conditions. A change in taste or dispensing rate is a reason to check the equipment rather than guess at a cartridge.
Whole-home filtration
Cartridge equipment and tank media have different service requirements. Check pressure changes, inspect accessible connections and confirm the selected media’s service or replacement procedure. Do not assume that a large tank makes ongoing care unnecessary.
Ion-exchange softeners
Check the brine container and use the salt type specified for the unit. Keep hardness and regeneration settings with the handover record. If scale returns, review salt supply, settings and equipment operation before replacing the system.
Dispensers and ice equipment
Filter changes do not replace cleaning and sanitizing. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for reservoirs, dispensing surfaces, ice storage and descaling. Keep ventilation and service access clear.
Make a useful service request.
Send the model, when the equipment was installed, the last filter change and what changed. Clear equipment and connection photographs can help identify the next step.
